Summer Never Ends at Crown ReefWe love Myrtle Beach for a multitude of reasons, but we especially love how long our summer season lasts. When northern states are cooling down and settling in for winter, we are still rocking sunshine and beach worthy weather into mid-October. October does usher in some slightly cooler weather, but the perfect kind of cool down, more on that later!
September is a beautiful month, full of sunshine and tropical breezes. The average temperature is 85 degrees and the average water temperature is still practically 80 degrees! You are treated to smaller crowds in Myrtle Beach and a less crowded atmosphere at Crown Reef Resort. Even more exciting if you book dates between September 1 and November 1 and stay two or more nights you will receive a complimentary $20 game card and $40 food and beverage credit!
October ushers in some comfortably cooler weather that is perfect for shorts during the day and jeans at night! The average temperatures are still in the high 70s and the water is a refreshing 72 degrees. October is the perfect time to take that much talked about camping trip and enjoy some crackling bonfires while you cook up yummy s’mores and tell ghost stories! The best part about October for our guests is Myrtle Beach and Crown Reef Resort are practically empty which makes for very personal service.
In the fall months you can also find great deals in Myrtle Beach. As part of the 60 days of summer campaign Visit Myrtle Beach is promoting, many area businesses are having 60 themed sales and packages starting September 1. Check out a couple of the fun things you can do for a discount:
