Tips For Summer Vacations with Toddlers
Bringing small children on a trip can be tiring, yet rewarding and taking them on vacation should be fun and relaxing for the entire family as new memories are made for everyone!
Here are a few tips of how to maximize your family's memories, achieve relaxation and what to remember to bring for your baby or toddler:
- Schedule a nap time every day during your vacation at the same time. This may help your child sleep longer and give you and your spouse time to yourselves and possibly a nap of your own.
- Choose to dine at kid friendly restaurants. Steering clear of loud restaurants or places with a full bar might make for a more pleasant dining experience. While you're in Myrtle Beach, try Soho Steaks, Seafood and Sushi just a block from the beach on 21st Avenue North. It is a quiet atmosphere with excellent cuisine. Be aware that there is a live band at Soho on Friday evenings, so it may be best to avoid that time. Plus, there are many restaurants on site and adjacent to your resort. For maximum convenience check out Loco Gecko for lunch or dinner and Crown Café for an easy on-site breakfast during your vacation.
- Be sure to enjoy the kiddie pools and lazy river. Be aware of safety rules near the kiddie pools and bring arm floaties to allow for safe fun with your child.
- Remember to bring waterproof diapers, baby hats, and a beach umbrella to protect your young kid's skin, face and eyes.
Appreciate your youngster as they grow, take plenty of vacation pictures and enjoy your stay at the Crown Reef Resort!
