This is an ideal area to park the car and walk from ride to restaurant and where you will easily find the SkyWheel—one of the most iconic attractions at the beach.

The Boardwalk is ocean front and is one of the most popular destinations in Myrtle Beach for both visitors and residents.  The SkyWheel is the largest ocean front attraction around, and one that everyone, even the faint at heart, will enjoy.

This 187 foot tall Ferris wheel ride is the second tallest in North America which makes it one of the prime attractions in Myrtle Beach. An unforgettable view of the Atlantic Ocean and of downtown Myrtle Beach awaits you at the top of the SkyWheel ride.

The gondola that you ride in is enclosed and can hold two to six people at one time. It is wheelchair accessible and infants are welcome and ride for free until two years of age.

The hours of operation are Sunday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., but may vary by season. The ride lasts about 10 minutes. It is $9 for children and $13 for adults ages 12 and older.

The SkyWheel that is surrounded by shops, restaurants and other sky touching rides to enjoy is the perfect place to go during your vacation.  Plus, bring your VMB Card for discounts on your tickets valid up to 6 people if you go before 7 p.m.!
