Bring These Things to the Beach

If you are staying at Crown Reef Resort then you are sure to have a stylish oceanfront vacation that you will forever remember.  One the most visited attractions in Myrtle Beach is none other than the beach.  The beautiful beaches are a vacationer’s haven with golden sandy beaches leading to the refreshing Atlantic Ocean.  You bring anything else that will make for an enjoyable and long lasting day at the beach with your family.  Here is a list of things you do not want to forget when planning your day at the beach so that you are not hassled to have to make sandy trips back to your room or to the store. After all, vacation time is precious; maximize your time of having fun and soaking in that Vitamin D!

Beach chairs-Sounds like a no brainer right? Although towels might be easier to carry, beach chairs are more comfortable, and most times, offer a cup holder and neck support.  If you're spending all day with the kids at the beach, your most relaxing position will be from a chair and your bum will thank you.

Two towels per person- Bringing two towels for one person might seem excessive but after you are through dunking down in the deep ocean, a sandy towel is not what you want.  Bringing one to lie out and play on and another to dry yourself off is a sound decision that you and your doused and tuckered out family will thank you for.

Snorkel gear- The more toys the better!  A well-known fact is that children rarely sit still.  They are constantly looking for toys to play with and challenges to further their imagination.   A family activity that is interesting for all is snorkeling; giving you a hands on experience to see the sea without going deep and constantly coming up for air.  Flippers are fun for kids who are just learning to swim and seeing the fish swim by beside you brings to light what you having been unknowingly splashing around.

Snacks- Spending the day outside with the sun beating down, swimming and playing works up a major mid-day hunger.  Be sure to pack plenty of drinks including water and snacks like fruit and sandwiches.  This will be ideal during the day so you don't have to leave sandy and hungry in search of food while the sun is still high in the sky.

A benefit of being at Crown Reef is the proximity from your room to the beach.  If you must take a trip back it’s not too far.  Enjoy your stay at the oceanfront resort and have a wonderful beachy time.
