Amenity Spotlight: New Waterpark

Every guest who visits Crown Reef during the summer will have access to a brand new waterpark that will occupy the southern end of the property.  The new waterpark will add even more value to an already value-packed resort that includes remodeled rooms, delicious on-site dining with the Loco Gecko restaurant opening up a 2^nd location at Crown Reef, and numerous pools, a lazy river, and hot tubs scattered throughout the pool deck.

The waterpark will feature two different slides including a 2-person tube slide that will be 278-feet long and a body slide that will measure in at 302-feet long.  Each slide will begin on the 4^th floor of our southern rotunda and will wrap around one another until they both connect into our new indoor pool. 

The EXPLOSION tube slide will be the very first of its kind built in the state of South Carolina!  With over 2500 gallons of water pupping down the slide every minute, this is sure to be your family’s favorite amenity this summer.  Just grab a tube, head up to the 4^th floor launch area, and enjoy the ride!

While both of these slides cater to the adults and older kids who will be vacationing with us this year, we didn’t forget about those who aren’t big enough to ride those slides yet.  We will also be adding in a 20-foot kiddie slide in our new indoor waterpark . 

Our goal is to make Crown Reef the best resort along the Grand Strand and the best waterpark resort in the state. We hope all of our guests enjoy our newest amenity; our indoor/outdoor waterpark!
